Science Fair: The Depression Kit

The creation of this project was inspired when I decided to visit a psychiatrist's clinic. I saw many teenagers who were suffering from depression, thus I decided to benefit my community by composing a solution. I started by creating a research document indicating the symptoms and information about depression. The link to this document is provided below.

I quickly realized the missing current preventive measure of the Canadian System. The government expects students to confront their counselors about their disorders. Although this may be a correct solution, some students may have developed concealed depression. This event occurs when an individual cover up their symptoms and shows their peers that they have never developed depression. When students do not want to confront their counselors, the system that the government provided will not impact or benefit the affected students at all.
